Nowadays organic cotton clothing becomes very popular and the most demanding. People especially youngsters are willing to buy clothing for themselves more naturally to prevent the harmful effects of chemicals used in textile processes.
However, there are some intelligent people who are trying to make more money on the use of this weakness of people. I mean how do you rely on the shirt you purchased is really organic? There are 3 common uses of organic cotton.
1) You can use the normal, conventional cotton and claim to be organic. If people believe you then you will get 30% more profit with the same clothes. So please carefully check the labels on the clothes before buying and try to buy from big brands!
2) You get the organic cotton. That weaving and dyeing as in the normal course of cotton. At the end you will have a harmful chemical and tissue that is not organic but “made from organic cotton.”
3) You get the organic cotton and dyes with dye that is allowed by organic certification companies and follow their guidelines. This is costly and the final fabric, t-shirt prices will be higher, but this is of course healtier. At the end of its organizational structure will not be detrimental! In that case you can also say that the term “organic t-shirt” easily.
Confusing? Ok, try to stay away from ‘Made in India’ and ‘made in China’ products of organic cotton for now. U.S. Turkey and provides much better quality and business confidence at the moment. I will try to explain the details in my next article on fromorganic.com website.
